CENTRE COMMERCIAL LE MILLÉNAIRE
It is one of the most important and recent shopping centres in the Île-de-France region. Le Millénaire is a real temple dedicated to shopping, located on an abandoned former industrial wasteland in the south of Aubervilliers. Taking advantage of its location along the Saint-Denis Canal, one of the Millennium attractions is the presence of water down to the foot of the shops. Shuttles connect the Porte de la Villette to the large ochre, red, and glass commercial vessel. After a slow start, the centre is now fully operational, thanks in particular to the metro and Paris tramway service. In addition to a supermarket, the place has 66 shops. Finally, the Millennium is now part of a much larger commercial complex, which extends on both sides of the ring road. Indeed, the area called Rosa Parks has just been completed: cinema, big brands and restaurants opened in mid-2016, the place even having a RER E station. Le Millénaire and Rosa Parks are connected by a pedestrian bridge. We can never tell you enough, but if you come to this area, use public transport!
