FORMER DEPORTATION STATION OF BOBIGNY
Former deportation station of Bobigny; considered as a place of history and memory, proposing a visit on reservation
A place of history and memory, this station saw no less than 22,500 people pass through between 1942 and 1944, the vast majority of whom were exterminated upon arrival in the camps. In the 1990s, the place was rediscovered and saved from demolition. In the years to come, the place should be rehabilitated to tell the younger generations about the horror of the Shoah. It can be visited in the meantime, by reservation at the tourist office.
