SAINT-PIERRE-SAINT-PAUL CHURCH
Built from the xiiith century, replacing a church of the viiith century falling in ruins, this Gothic style building is dedicated to the apostles Pierre and Paul. The choir and sanctuary are the oldest elements of the building. The bell tower dates from the xivth century and the great nef of xve. Strangely enough, the prestigious historical past of this place is quite unknown, yet: The church was a great place of the royalty, Saint Louis and Blanche de Castille attended religious ceremonies, and King Charles V was baptized in the XIV century. For more than a century (1913), it has been classified at Historic Monuments.
