To do this, your companion - at least if he claims to be of pedigree origin - must be registered with LOOF, the Livre officiel des origines félines, the organization in charge of managing the Livre Généalogique, issuing pedigrees for pedigree cats born in France, as well as guiding and promoting feline breeds, organizing competitions and training judges and breeders. To make it easier for you to keep abreast of cat news, LOOF has just launched its smartphone application. You'll find illustrated breed sheets: from the elegant Abyssinian to the sophisticated Persian, from the giant Maine Coon to the tiny Singapura... You'll also have direct access to breed clubs. And what else? With a simple click, you can contact breeders near you, and note down cat shows (geolocation or on the map of France). Smart: the application features a questionnaire to help you find your ideal breed!
