A jewelry jewelry jewel, Goossens Paris is one of the greatest designers of couture jewelry. Its expertise and excellence have earned it the distinction of a Living Heritage Company.
History. Among the prestigious line of 20th century jewellery designers who contributed to the reputation of French chic, Robert Goossens occupies a special place.
A demanding craftsman, a brilliant technician, an insatiable curiosity, Robert Goossens has laid out an original route that has taken him from antiquity to contemporary fashion, from Byzantine art to the refinement of haute couture.
Many designers and perfumers have called upon her: Gabrielle Chanel, Cristobal Balenciaga, Madame Grès, Hubert de Givenchy, Christian Lacroix, or Yves Saint Laurent who entrusted her with the creation of her jewellery in 1976.
At the same time, he creates many decorative objects on themes that are dear to him: rock crystal, gilded bronze, coral branches, wheat sheaves... His children - Patrick and Martine - have taken up the torch.
In 2005, the Goossens workshops joined the Chanel Art Houses. The House's collections can be seen in the shop at 42, avenue Georges V (Paris 8e).
