LES MAGASINS GÉNÉRAUX
This concrete vessel, nicknamed the "Grenier de Paris" in the 1930s and then abandoned at the end of the last century, was destined for a great deal. A decade later, the place became the "Magasins Généraux" (General Stores), becoming an unavoidable centre for creation and exhibitions. The immense volumes of the structure and in particular of the Great Hall overlooking the canal (and whose exhibitions can be continued outside) allow the setting up of impressive exhibitions. A living space in its own right, with shops and a café-restaurant.
