The Maison et Objet is a reference point for decoration and trends. Twice a year, it takes place not far from Paris at the Villepinte Exhibition Centre (in 2014: from January 24 to 28 and from September 5 to 9). More than a day is required to tour all halls. There are free shuttle departures from Paris to visit. Caveat: only professionals can access this very popular lounge, and the purchase price of the entry badge is prohibitive (purchase of the badge online: 45 € until 2 December and 60 € until 28 January 2014; purchase of the badge at the entrance to the Salon: 65 €).
