VAL-DE-MARNE DEPARTMENTAL ARCHIVES
Archives départementales, a place for research and exhibitions in a remarkable setting in Créteil.
The building is unmistakable, typical of constructions of the 1960 s and 1970 s, at a height. The departmental archives of Val-de-Marne, located in Créteil, are not only a place of research (and sometimes of discovery)! The site also proposes, at the rate of one or two per year, exhibitions on the architectural heritage of the department, but also on the literature referring to it. Other themes can be addressed, as recently in the footsteps of the Great War, or its children. On such a dense and diverse territory, so much to say that the subjects discussed can be multiple! Please note that these exhibitions, whether temporary, virtual or travelling, are completely free, so do not hesitate to contact the site for the program. In 2016, for example, projections for the liberation of the Val-de-Marne in 1944 and 1945, or the exhibition "Freedom, I write your name", to be held until July 8, 2016.
