SAINT-SATURNIN CHURCH
On the site of an old 7th century church, the current building was rebuilt in the 13th century, then extensively altered in the 16th century in a late Gothic style, following the collapse of its nave. There is a remarkable 14th century stained glass window not to be missed, as well as a statue of Saint Saturnin above the gate. Don't forget to take a look at the pretty bell tower topped by a rooster. Notice to music lovers: concerts are regularly given in this place of worship. Saint-Saturnin was classified as a Historic Monument in 1989. With its appearance of a large village church and its small adjoining square, it gives the impression of being in the provinces, whereas it is only a few hundred metres from the capital.
