THE DEPARTMENTAL NURSERY
The commune bears such a beautiful name that a wonderful wonder is hidden behind! Created in 1976, the departmental nursery is a culture area spread over 8.5 ha. There are thousands of trees, shrubs and roses that will later adorn departmental institutions. Every year, it is no less than 2000 of these plants that are replanted in the department! It is also intended to safeguard the different plant species in Val-de-Marne, since its reserve keeps copies of each variety. The nursery organizes open houses, as well as visits by appointment to make the public discover this place dedicated to nature. Large as small it takes a huge bowl of pure air in the immediate vicinity of the city!
