Restaurant with a chic and rustic decor offering several specialties such as the complete Auvergne plate.

In this chic, rustic room, the dry ham, the sausage with the knife and the salty pig breast have the heading alongside auvergne: skipped potatoes and nappées saint. To try several specialities of the same momentum, we will take the complete Auvergne base, accompanied by a glass of wine. We will also look at the suggestions of the day, which make the tour of France subject to large-scale hotel filet, or grilled poultry in small vegetables. If you arrive in the afternoon, you will consult the snacks map: you will choose a sausage and cheese board, a bogeyman, an omelet… Tradition has a good tradition and when you start a share of home clafoutis, we look forward to being here.

We went to dine with the Coal Merchant bar for its famous cheesburger that us were warmly recommended. The service was average, without being execrable (can be because there were only 8 other guests to be served). But of course, cooking meat was bad (" obviously " , as it too often arrive). I asked for a bleeding steak (usually, I eat it blue, but in a burger, it is too raw) and arrived too cooked (any grey, not a pink meat trace). The cheese was not even run, so the burger had had to wait before being served.
When at the end of the meal, I made out with the pseudonym waiter (a summer job,) that cooking had not been good, I saw me answering poor a " ah yes? " not even in the eyes, " kind; always cause, I have anything with battre" it;.
The owner, it was to watch TV, but in any case, it was not. And you can see the result.
A coal merchant, a real, which will be served all flavours you Auvergne accompanied by local wines in the bright flavours!
If you are the regime, go elsewhere, if not enter to enjoy local cuisine simple and adapted to the seasonal produce.
Many patate and cheese that " dépote" tasty and melting meat, rich sauces... you leave for several hours which is divided between friends, and who enjoys entrance for dessert.
