With that name, we know what kind of cuisine we're going to have to deal with! Among the countless suggestions are delicate vegetarian dishes such as eggplant curry, mushrooms in masala sauce or korma. Meat is best served with lamb prepared with mint and coriander, or in a cream sauce enriched with pistachios, almonds and cashews. At noon on weekdays, the thali plateau is the best way to taste a little bit of everything in a very short time. It includes eggplant, potato and onion fritters, raita yogurt, spinach and cheese, as well as a main course with basmati rice. We chose vegetable curry, subtly spiced. To conclude this lunch, we could have coffee, tea or dessert. We asked for the Indian semolina cake: served warm, it smelled delicious butter and saffron. We would have asked for the recipe!
