SUCY-EN-BRIE FORT
Typical fort of the military architect presenting an exhibition dedicated to the wine-growing past of the commune and of the Ile-de-France
This fort, which was once part of the second fortified belt of Paris, is typical of the military architecture of the 19th century. Built between 1879 and 1881, it is a rare example of the military architecture of this period. The fort also hosts the Bacchus Gallery of the Coteaux de Sucy-en-Brie brotherhood, which presents an exhibition dedicated to the wine-growing past of the town and the Ile-de-France region. For visits, contact the association "à la découverte du fort de Sucy" which allows you to make an appointment with this team of enthusiasts.
