Buddhist temple in Vincennes, Kagyu-Dzong temple dedicated to Tibetan Buddhism, housing the highest Buddha in Europe

A Buddhist temple in the heart of a wood in Vincennes: original and inspiring! Inaugurated in 1974, it is the Kagyu-Dzong temple dedicated to Tibetan Buddhism under the protection of Kalou Rinpoche. In the same enclosure is the pagoda of the Bois de Vincennes, headquarters of the Buddhist Union of France which shelters the highest Buddha of Europe and relics of the historical Buddha given by Thailand to France. Events are sometimes organized there.
