DISCOVERY PATH
In front of the abbey, the Queen-Hortense road, lined with majestic poplar, opens access to this protected area. The place is open to everyone, but you have to wear the boots to access it, among the reeds. The ideal time to get there is through a beautiful spring morning. This is the most magical moment. A volunteer association has built two mounts, wooden huts with holes, behind which nature lovers spend a new species of bird or mammal for hours. Perches and food have been installed to encourage future birds to nest. Beets deposited in several places are also very much appreciated by biches and small mammals such as rabbits, weasel or black-footed black. At the foot of the observatories, the mare, with its islands, is a true haven of peace for the breeding species.
