House allowing to see the splendid works of Daumier, Corot, Oudinot.
The painter Charles-François Daubigny (1817-1878) is considered as one of the precursors of impressionism. He settled in Auvers in 1861. With his friend, the architect and painter Oudinot, he designed a house-studio which was to be the first artistic centre of the village, on the edge of the castle park. The walls of his house captured the spontaneous expression of Daubigny. One can also see the splendid works of Daumier, Corot and Oudinot.
