The "green fairy" is a spirit made from plants between 40 and 80 degrees of alcohol. A popular drink during the Impressionist period, it has been forbidden for consumption since 1915. A passion for Marie-Claude Delahaye, lecturer at Jussieu, who has transformed her country house in Auvers into a museum full of small openwork metal spoons, posters, engravings, documents... On June 27th, Absinthe Day, absinthe lovers have the exceptional authorization to taste the liqueur at the absinthe bar, according to the ritual of the fountain.
