This vast and beautiful house, on the banks of the Oise, was acquired by the famous actor in the early 1950s. The peacefulness of the place made it a haven of peace where he came to live with his wife Anne. After the death of the actor, in 1959, the house and its park are abandoned for many years. The city of Cergy finally bought it, renovating the sublime 5-hectare park bristling with hundred-year-old chestnut trees. Splendid.
