Let's face it, this vast roadside inn is not distinguished by a particular architecture, and is rather of the all-purpose type. And yet, here, there is no shortage of resources. Indeed, the place has many places, and is also very frequented by a clientele of regulars, mainly at lunchtime. For the rest, Auberge de Cléry specialises in meat dishes, and in particular kidneys and sweetbreads made from veal with old-fashioned mustard seed, or beef fillet with pepper or Ambert steak, candied lamb mouse in its juice (be careful, you also have a few fish dishes here): you will have understood it, it is difficult to do it more French! Whether you have room in your stomach or not, it will be difficult to avoid the succulent desserts. Special mention on the lunch menu, clever and excellent value for money. In the evening, other, more elaborate packages are available.

REPAS DE GROUPE
Nous avons pris notre repas de fin d'année à l'auberge. Nous étions 15, le repas était excellent, l'accueil et le lieu très agréable le tout avec un service efficace et à l'écoute. Les mets étaient raffinés et nous avions une salle indépendante.
Je vous conseille l'auberge.

J'avais envie de tester ce restaurant depuis longtemps car il avait bonne réputation. Mon menu à 38 euros : 3 St Jacques trop cuites dans leur coquille avec un peu de beurre et de chapelure, rien de transcendant ! Ensuite le boeuf demandété saignant est bien cuit ... et là crème brûlée sans saveur artisanale servie froide. Les 3 autres convives sont aussi déçus. Vins assez chers.

La recommandation et la mention spéciale accordée au " menu du midi, malin et d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix " sont amplement mérités pour ce restaurant.

Pour 18€ nous avons pu apprécier :

* la terrine de campagne maison ;
* le filet de lieu noir très généreusement servi et cuit parfaitement ;
* la tarte " légère " aux abricots

Le quart de vin - Côtes du Rhône - blanc ou rouge - est à 3€ ; le café à 2€

Le tout servi efficacement et avec le sourire. Une bonne étape " futée " à 3 km du passionnant musée d'archéologie du Val d'Oise.
