Built in the th century according to François Mansart's plans for Jean Dyel, Earl of Aufflay and Louis XIV Ambassador in Venice, this elegant castle is surrounded by common and gardens designed by Le Nôtre. The workshop was completed by Jules Hardouin-Mansart. Today, private property is leased for various prestigious events. In particular, he served as a background for the Tintin film and the Mystery of the Golden fleece (1961) and more recently for the one from the famous Da Vinci Code, signed Dan Brown.
