ST. ACCEUL'S CHURCH
Built in the sixteenth century in a flamboyant Gothic style, along with the castle of Listenen, this church has remained unfinished. Its nef dates back to 1709 and its facade of the middle of the nineteenth century. The treasure of this building? Its magnificent stained glass windows, dating back to 1544 for the oldest, representing the connstables of Montmorency and his family, scenes inspired by the Gospels and the life of Saint Acceul. The origin of this saint is mysterious and may be associated with Saint Andéol; the church is the only one in France to carry that name. The bell houses a bell bell of 1,400 kg, named Anne, bearing the arms of Anne de Montmorency. The church would finally house the grave of its architect, Jean Bullant.
