This beautiful, restored, spring-fed washhouse was very active until the middle of the 20th century. It was not uncommon to see twenty or so people washing their clothes at the same time, giving the place a social aspect in the heart of the village. At that time, the laundry was washed at the exit of the wash house, and rinsed at the entrance: quite an art!
