Served by two lines, one RER, the other Transilien, Gare de Cernay serves the district of the same name in the south of Ermont. Between Ermont-Eaubonne and Franconville - Le Plessis-Bouchard stations, it takes an average of 25 minutes to reach Gare du Nord, and around 30 minutes to reach Porte de Clichy. Overlooking the departmental road, it has a parking lot with around 40 spaces. Served by several dozen trains a day, it is less busy than its two neighbors.
