CHÂTEAU CADET DE VAUX
Château dating from the century and featuring a pleasant park with pretty formal gardens, a lovely address.
The Château Cadet de Vaux, named after Antoine Cadet de Vaux, chemist, pharmacist and philanthropist, is a fine example of Franconville's heritage and was built in the 18th century. Located on Rue d'Ermont, its grounds are open to the public, revealing a series of pretty formal gardens. Until the 2000s, the site was home to the school of music, before it was moved to the Maison Suger, which has undergone extensive restoration work. Today, the park produces the plants needed for the city's flowerbeds.
