ÉGLISE SAINT-NICOLAS
A remarkable church, with a barn aisle and a bell dating from 1787, located in the heart of the village of Frépillon.
Saint-Nicolas de Frépillon may have the massive appearance of a village church, but it's well worth a visit. Located in the heart of the village, the church was remodeled in the 19th century, but its foundations are thought to date back to the 13th century. The barn nave has four bays, and the choir is set slightly to one side of the rest of the building. Only the bell tower reveals the stones used in its construction, the rest being covered with a light-colored cement. The bell dates from 1787.
