GUIRY-EN-VEXIN CASTLE
This castle nestled in the heart of the village, was built in the seventeenth century for the Marquis André de Guiry by François Mansart
A little jewel nestled in the heart of the village, the castle was built in the 17th century for the Marquis André de Guiry by François Mansart (1598-1666). This elegant building is nestled in a wooded environment: an access driveway lined with four rows of trees was designed at the same time as the estate plans. Restored in 1873, it was listed as a Historic Monument in 1944. It can be visited by appointment, as it is inhabited. The place is also the object of cultural events.
