EGLISE SAINT-MARTIN
Church on an ancient Merovingian necropolis, with remarkable stained glass windows and funeral slabs.
Established on an ancient Merovingian necropolis, the church sits high on a knoll overlooking a loop of the Seine. Built in several stages between the 12th and 16th centuries, it was classified as a historic monument in 1925. A must-see are the stained-glass windows in the north aisle and choir, the tombstones of several 17th-century parish priests and various sculptures, including one depicting Saint-Martin's charity. An essential part of the town's heritage, this building is one of its symbols.
