On the banks of the Seine, this land of Impressionism showcases the fine work of painters, many of them local.

For decades, La Frette-sur-Seine was one of the main Parisian sites dedicated to Impressionism. Between the 1840s and the first half of the 19th century, illustrious names such as Daubigny and Pissarro painted the village and the Seine. It's in these unchanging surroundings that a painters' day is held every year in April: the artists are numerous, so you can talk to the painters, as well as discover different creators.
