EGLISE SAINT NICOLAS
Church decorated with stained glass, dedicated to the patron saint of boatmen and located on the banks of the Seine in La Frette.
Situated on the banks of the Seine, the listed Saint-Nicolas church is dedicated to the patron saint of boatmen - a logical choice, given its proximity to the river! Until the 1970s, the interior was covered in wood panelling, but the 1980s brought a change of scene, and the whole building is now covered in lime. At the same time, the exterior walls were also renovated. Its stained glass windows, dating from the 19th century, have been progressively restored since the end of the last century. Finally, take a look at the lovely wooden Christ figure at the back of the choir.
