ST. DAMIEN-SAINT COMO CHURCH
The church is dedicated to Como and Damien, two brothers in the Middle East who were martyred in 303; accused of letting the people of the temples deserted, they were flagellates from the top of a rock and thrown into a burning furnace. Despite the torments that grew up and still did not die, they finally turned their heads. Their relics were reported in Rome by a cross, lord of Luzarches. This church is remarkable by its stylistic diversity. From its Romanesque origin, it only remains the apse of the th century and a very nice four (link between the nave of the nave and the bedside in half-circle). The chapels are the th and th centuries, the steeple of the th and th centuries. The Renaissance façade was built in the th century by Nicolas de Saint-Michel. The cemetery behind the choir completes a remarkable set.
