NOTRE DAME CHURCH
The original church built in xiiie was burned by the English in 1436, and almost entirely rebuilt during the fifteenth century. The pillars of the bell tower remain the only source of origin. The demographic expansion required a new choir in the sixteenth century, entrusted to Guillaume de Maistre, the architect of Gisors Castle. Jean Grappin continued the building, with transept and the southern part of the nef, which ended in 1609. These successive changes make it a charming building. The Virgin of the child in algae on the altar master is dated in the sixteenth century. It comes from the abbey of Saint-Denis. In the chapel of the Virgin, you can observe the remains of the mausoleum of the Villeroy, lords of Magny from 1525 to 1733. The two bells, carried out in 1859 and 1864, are Hildebrant's work, the founder of Emperor Napoleon III.
