ST. LEGER'S CHURCH
This Romanesque style parish church has magnificent contemporary stained glass windows created by François Chapuis in 1986.
Facing south, on an elongated plan, the church of Saint-Léger de Menucourt is in neo-Byzantine style, and dates from the very end of the 19th century, very precisely from 1899 - it took the place of a previous building, which was much too degraded. Its bell tower is integrated into the main façade. Its appearance reinforces the village character of the heart of the small town, and seems to be leaning against the escarpments of the Hautil massif. It is well worth a look when you are here. To find it, it's simple: it can be seen from afar.
