ST. MARTIN'S COLLEGE
This church was built in the th century in a flamboyant Gothic style by Guillaume de Montmorency. He built the choir and the first four spans of the nave. The building will be completed by his son, the famous Constable Anne, between 1557 and 1563: The construction of the nave finished, it closes with a simple wall. The church was intended to shelter the tombs of family members. The façade built in the th century by the oratoriens was completely restored in the th by the architect Lucien Magne. The Montmorency recumbent were destroyed during the Revolution; some of them are now at the Louvre Museum. The recumbent that can be seen in this church are memories bequeathed by Polish refugees in Montmorency at the beginning of the th century. The beautiful windows are old.
