Farmhouse near Saint-Symphorien church in Nesles-la-Vallée
Located near the church of Saint-Symphorien in Nesles-la-Vallée, this farm was originally a manor house built between the 15th and 16th centuries for Antoine de Cugnac, the local lord. This charming building has Renaissance windows and a beautiful dovecote. One of the mullioned windows, whose dripstone ends with two cherubs, opens onto the church. The house was enlarged by the addition of agricultural buildings during the XVIIIth century (barn, stable). (barn, stable). It was listed as a historical monument in 1984.
