LE CHÂTEAU DE NEUVILLE
Castle classified as a historical monument, located in the heart of the city and having known a particularly agitated history in Neuville-sur-Oise
It is partly classified as a historic monument (for its pavilion, its base and its balustrade) and has had a particularly troubled history. The initial seigniory was transformed in the mid-seventeenth century into a castle, via the addition of two wings and a central body. Acquired by the public authorities in 1989, it was gradually abandoned and then left to its fate. At the beginning of the 2000s, most of the castle became a retirement home, allowing the building, located in the heart of the city, to regain a usefulness.
