This is undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in the region, where chef Jean-Luc Brillet has been at the helm for many years. Here, the emphasis is on traditional, well-prepared cuisine, enhanced by a touch (and sometimes even more) of inventiveness, using excellent produce. The menu, featuring Maltese-style dishes, changes every 5 or 6 months. Veal and prawns are paired with saffron cream, sea bream fillet is served alongside Chinese cabbage, and the mushroom desserts are not to be outdone. The price is right, and reservations are highly recommended.
