Baroque music has here one of its most important festivals in France: about fifteen places, more than 200 artists.
Every year, different places come alive with baroque music, to the sound of the Pontoise baroque festival. Launched in 1986, this festival is aimed at lovers of the genre, but also at the curious, who wish to discover this so singular musical style, generally little known. In about fifteen places (in the superb Saint-Maclou cathedral, of course, but also in the cultural centers of Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône or Jouy-le-Moutier, for example), festival-goers come to applaud more than 200 artists.
