The beautiful façade of the building is in fact a former part of the Cordeliers convent: very old indeed, since the premises became the town hall of the Val-d'Oise prefecture in 1854! The arcades of the old cloister are still visible, as well as two bays which are the remains of the old church. If you pass by, a glance at these two admirably preserved remains will allow you to plunge into the religious past of the town.
