TAVET-DELACOUR MUSEUM
Modern or contemporary art, this museum offers many works, a rich donation, and splendid creations.
Housed in an elegant late 15th-century town house, illustrating the late Gothic architecture, the museum houses the city's historical collections (19th and 20th centuries) and works by Otto Freundlich (1878-1943) donated to it. Specializing in modern and contemporary art, the museum has acquired or received donations of works by Henri Matisse, Hans Arp, Aurélie Nemours and Gregory Masurovsky. Finally, in the garden, a Neolithic covered walkway has been reconstructed, and some remains of the Pontoise ramparts can be seen.
