Vast park opened in 1980, one of the green lungs of the city of Pontoise

This vast park was opened in 1980. Its name comes from the washerwomen who used to come here, along the Viosne (whose name was the "Couleuvre" several centuries ago) and its 17 mills. With a size of over 12,000 m², it is one of the green lungs of the city. Among the special features on site, many apple trees, which give the "Belle de Pontoise", a sweet variety that is the pride of the city. Just nearby is the park of the castle of Marcouville.
