MOGUL'S CASTLE
This castle rises on a large terrace lined with balustrades
Classified as a Historic Monument, this castle was originally an old manor house, fief since the beginning of the 16th century of the Isque family. It changed ownership in 1771 and was rebuilt at the end of the 18th century. The house stands on a large terrace lined with balustrades. The central pavilion, covered with slates, is framed by two wings covered in terrace, where we find ramps with balusters. It was the daughter of the botanist Jussieu, Sophie, who designed the park in 1780 and planted it with majestic trees.
