OUR PARK
17th century park with the ruins of a castle of the Lord of Korea and various plant species in the heart of Saint-Ouen.
This park dating from the 17th century extends over 11 hectares, in the heart of the city. It is said that this garden was designed by a pupil of Le Nôtre, but there is no evidence of this. Here stood a castle, that of the Lord of Korea, of which only one wing remains. In 1954, following the appeal of the Abbé Pierre, housing was built here. Planted with lime and chestnut trees, it has been the subject, since 1993, of a vast and ambitious planting programme. New noble species (ginko biloba, maples, ashes, beeches, oaks and conifers) have been introduced
