Local sports enthusiasts wouldn't miss this event for the world: there are two routes through the heart of the town.
It's Sannois' traditional sporting event in mid-October, and many people come from far and wide to take part. Les Foulées de Cyrano offers two routes, of 5 and 10 kilometers: the start is from the Stade Auguste-Delaune, and the route takes in the town's streets, which, for the duration of a Sunday morning, are blocked off to make way for the brave athletes. Several hundred participants (please note that places are limited) come together for an event that will be 44 years old this year.
