ETNA FRANCE

The Etna France group operates in the field of vertical passenger and load movement. It is the only French manufacturer of stairlifts. It has obtained the Origine France Garantie label for its products from the Domfront factory: Harmonie stairlifts, private elevators, Optima freight elevators, Opus and Opale elevators for people with reduced mobility.

History. The Etna France group is the merger of two Normandy companies, both created in 1986: France Elevateurs and Etna Fapel. The first designs and manufactures lifting devices for people with reduced mobility, to be installed in private homes, the second is mainly focused on subcontracting the assembly of elevators and freight elevators for most major groups.

In 1994, France Elevateurs designed and manufactured its first stairlift chair, becoming the only stairlift manufacturer in France. She then developed the private elevator. In 2001, Etna Ascenseurs took over the activities of the Fapel company and became Etna Fapel. It is now focused on the installation, production, repair and maintenance of freight elevators and EPMR (elevators for people with reduced mobility) and the management of elevator maintenance contracts. She then joined the Etna Fapel group and created a new market with her private comfort elevator under the Etna Private Lifts brand.

In 2012, the France Elevators and Etna Private Lifts brands merged to become Etna France within the Etna Corp. group. The following year, the group took the name Etna France. One year later, he obtained the Origine France Garantie label. In 2014, the group has 110 direct jobs, 1,000 devices sold per year and 16 million in turnover, which reaches an additional 4 million 3 years later.
