A must-see isolated bridge in the heart of the Montmorency forest, over and under which logging roads run
Right in the heart of the Forêt de Montmorency, you'll find this totally isolated bridge, over and under which forest tracks run. Although it was built in the mid-19th century, the question remains: why this bridge? According to the municipality, two housing developments were planned on the hill at the time, and the bridge was intended to facilitate pedestrian and equestrian traffic. Fortunately, the forest remained untouched, and only this bridge bears witness to the project.
