ART COURT
Craftsmen have gathered in this old farmhouse: the creations are unique, the animations numerous.
I love this unusual place which will please the curious, the artists, the handymen, and all those who are looking for good ideas or beautiful objects. It is located in a 2,500 m² farmhouse, restored according to traditional methods. Here are installed 18 craftsmen, forming a space of creation and emulation unique in its kind. You will be able to walk around and see wood and gold, fabric and ceramics, glass or metal work, fire arts, cutlery, hat making or even the restoration of old ceramics. You can also, of course, buy some of these beautiful objects. All independent, the craftsmen are nevertheless grouped around an associative structure which does not spare its efforts to organize here very nice moments. Because here, the events are numerous. Thus, the European days of arts and crafts are the subject of many animations. Similarly, the "Vaurélames" exhibition brings in - as its name indicates - cutlers from all over France, and there are many demonstrations. In December, a medieval market, amusingly called "Vauréyule", transports you back in time, and craftsmen from the Court, but also many from elsewhere, are present for this moment like no other. To get here, head towards the old village of Vauréal, and you'll see that the place is easy to find. From here, you are only a few hundred meters from the Axe majeur: ideal to continue your walk.
