HAZEVILLE MANOR
A beautiful building registered as a historical monument, decorated with painted porcelain
Built in 1560, the manor of Hazeville was deeply modified in the 19th century by the architect of Napoleon I, Pierre-François Fontaine, who was originally from Pontoise. The result is a beautiful building listed as a Historic Monument, a garden and a dovecote. When the weather is fine, you can enter the dovecote and the outbuildings of the manor, where the owner of the place exhibits his works: he has decorated the rooms with painted porcelain, adorned the walls with abstract canvases, and transformed old farm machinery into art objects.
