SAINT-PIERRE-SAINT-PAUL CHURCH
Church built on foundations, with stained glass windows. Once a place of pilgrimage.
Built in 1115 on the initiative of Geoffroy de Presles, the church was once the heart of a town that welcomed many pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela in the Middle Ages. The west side, façade and two naves are Romanesque (12th century); the bell tower was built in the 13th century; while the ogival chapel and choir date from the early 15th century. Magnificent 16th-century stained glass adorns the Gothic windows.
