This characterful wooded park was awarded the CAUE des Yvelines architecture, town planning and landscape prize in 2014.
The vast wooded park of La Châtaigneraie originates from the estate of the same name, divided into 3 parts: to the north, a private parcel was detached with the château; in the center, a residential development in the 1980s; and, in the southern part, the communal park, which covers 1.7 ha. Despite having lost a large part of its estate, the park still retains elements that are sufficient to give it character and coherence. Awarded the Prix d'Architecture, d'Urbanisme et de Paysage by the Conseil d'Architecture, d'Urbanisme et de l'Environnement des Yvelines in 2014.
