SAN MARTIN CHURCH
Charming country church with a fine carved wooden high altar dating from the first half of the century.
This charming Romanesque church was built in the 12th century and remodeled in the 18th and 19th centuries. Surrounded by a cemetery, it has a single nave and a side steeple housing a bell christened Martine. Dated 1555, it is the oldest bell in the region. The church features a fine 18th-century high altar in carved wood, with a painting of Saint Martin the bishop from the same period. The baptismal font, carved from a block of limestone, is delicately sculpted with interlaced sprigs and carved roses.
